The Buckram Sewing Attachment can be mounted on any straight stitch sewing machine, though we recommend a needle feed one. This small device for a small investment will feed the buckram without touching it and locate it precisely at the desired location on the drapery--either even with the top edge or any desired distance from the top edge doubling the output of the operation. All the operator has to do is to hold the fabric edge against a guide and push the treadle. For this reason even an inexperienced person can do it efficiently. It is equally applicable if the head or ham made first.
